At Radcliffe on Trent Scout Group we use a system called Online Scout Manger (OSM) to manage our records and help with the administration of badges, subscriptions and much more. It also ensures our leaders have correct contact details, emergency contact and medical details for our young people.
The OSM Parent Portal allows parents/carers to view and edit personal details, view the current term’s programme track badge progress and view emails sent from OSM.
All information we hold meets current Data Protection & GDPR requirements.

If you have not received your email invite to join OSM or you have any issues with OSM, please contact your subs@radcliffescouts.org.uk.
You will receive an email inviting you to set up an account.
Once you have set up an account you will then be able to check and update your child’s details.
Once you are logged in, on the left-hand side under “My Child” you will see several headings:
Payments – You can see the payment schedules which are currently set up on your account. Subscriptions should be paid by setting up a Direct Debit subscription through OSM which ensures all payments due are automatically made on time. You will receive an email 3 days before each payment is taken from your bank account and the Direct Debit can be cancelled at any time. You are covered by the Direct Debit Guarantee. [The Direct Debit payments are handled by a company called GoCardless. Setting up an account with GoCardless is very easy and should take no more than one minute. When your first payment to our group is due you will receive an email with a secure link to invite you to set up an account.]
Events – Details of events that your child has been invited to and signed up to.
Programme – Details of the current terms meetings.
Badges – Details of badges that your child has completed or working towards.
Personal Details – This is where you can update all of your child’s details, medical details, allergies, dietary needs, emergency contact details, and provide your consent choices for photo publicity. It’s really important that this section is kept up to date!
Emails – You can see all the emails that you have been sent to you by your section and by the group during the past 3 months.
Gift Aid – You can sign a gift aid declaration to enable to Scout Group to collect gift aid on your subscriptions.
